The process involves: 

1.Feed Introduction:The coarse mixture or pre-mix is fed into the milling chamber, typically via a hopper or an inlet pipe. 

2.High-Shear Zone:As the rotor spins at high velocities (often ranging from 3,000 to 15,000 RPM), it creates intense mechanical and hydraulic shear in the micron-sized gap between the rotor and stator. 

3.Particle Reduction & Emulsification:This tremendous shear force tears apart particles, droplets, and agglomerates, reducing them to a uniform micron or sub-micron size. Simultaneously, it promotes the intimate mixing of immiscible phases (like oil and water) to form a stable, homogeneous emulsion or dispersion. 

4.Discharge:The processed, refined product is discharged under pressure, ready for the next stage of production or for final packaging.
